How can I access wireless on campus?


Wireless Networks

The following wireless networks are available throughout campus.


IMAC_PUBLIC_WIRELESS - (Intended for guests)

Provides users with internet access. This is limited bandwidth connectivity, so there is no access to internal resources and sessions are limited to 2 hours.

  • Students should use IMAC_PUBLIC_WIRELESS to download the security requirements for secured network connectivity.  These include Microsoft updates and antivirus definitions.

How to Login

  • A valid email address.

MACNET - Student use only

Provides secure authenticated network access to IU servers, printers and internal resources specific to students.  *Cisco Clean Access Agent required. See information about How can I access MACNET?.

IUStaff (On University Laptops Only)

Provides secure authenticated network access to IU servers, printers and internal resources specific to faculty and staff. 

  • For Staff and faculty use only (On University Laptops Only)
